SbA Dew Series Final to decide Australia’s best Junior Skateboarders.
The Autumn leaves have started to turn a crisp brown which can only mean one thing – Summer has come to
an end and bringing with it the final event on Australia’s biggest Junior Skateboarding competition tour –
the SbA Dew Series!
Taking place over the 2008/2009 summer school holidays, the SbA Dew Series presented by SKATE 2 is
the only skateboarding event series of its kind in Australia and is an important pathway for talented
juniors making their way towards a professional career in the sport.
The series has called together junior skateboarding talents aged 17 years and under to compete on a sevenstop
competition series in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South
Competition was drawn up into 4 divisions including 14 years and under Boys, 17 years and under Girls,
17 years and under Boys and 17 years and under Sponsored Boys. With up to 100 talented young
juniors competing at each event in the SbA Dew Series, it was never an easy feat to progress through each
of the state competions.
We are now looking ahead to the Series final on Saturday March 21st at the Monster Skate Park in
Sydney. The top six from each divsion in each state will head to Homebush in Sydney to compete over a full
day of competition to decide the best Australian junior Skateboarder.

The SbA Dew series final event kicks off with an open Jam and warm up session on Friday March 20th
featuring live entertainment on and off the ramps and the action wraps up Saturday night with a special
appearance by one of the world’s best Skateboarders to help congratulate the kids.
